Kerstin Howard

Hi my name is Kerstin Howard and welcome to my e-portfolio for the Masters of Distance Education program.  I started the program in 2005 and graduated in August 2009.  It has been a very rewarding experience and I’ve learned so much about myself as a person and as a student.  I want to contribute so much to the distance education community since I’ve seen first-hand how leaders and professionals have shaped our field during my study in the program.  I feel so fortunate to be in the distance education community now and I can’t wait to get started.  Since I started the program, I learned a lot about time management.  Overall, I was very happy with the program at UMUC and all the instructors.  The classes were so intricately put together.  I learned about costs of distance education, leadership, and so many other different aspects of distance learning.  Feel free to look through my portfolio.  I have a contact link on my home page where you can just click on that link and send me an email if you have any questions or comments about my portfolio, or if you are interested in working on a project together.  Thank you for visiting my portfolio!
